GETRONICS BUILDING FUTURES WITH GLOBAL BRAND LAUNCH
By Adnews Staff
Amsterdam-based information and communication technology company Getronics has launched a worldwide branding campaign to unify its 200 offices under one global brand. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the Getronics name as well as convince customers that the company can meet their global needs, Bruce Yott, national marketing manager of Getronics Canada, explained. The advertising campaign launched in Canada on Friday and includes advertisements in newspapers, business publications, trade magazines and television. The global promotional campaign, from the London and Amsterdam offices of Leo Burnett, is based on the theme of "Building Futures" and features an image of an open door. The symbol of the open door is intended to illustrate that Getronics operates as a global company, working without borders across countries and business lines, said a release. PR for Getronics in Canada is handled by iContact Communications of Toronto. iContact is a subsidiary of Hill and Knowlton.
