ONTARIO FORD DEALERS DRIVE NORTH

The Northern Tourism Marketing Corporation of Thunder Bay, Ontario and Ontario Ford Dealers have signed a new three year corporate partnership. The two organizations will work toward building awareness of Northern Ontario as a unique vacation destination. However, OFD will not be involved in all of NTMC's major communication initiatives. The corporation's print and television advertisements will include OFD's logo, while its Web site will highlight OFD through banners, messages and links. NTMC's "Northern Ontario's Top Ten Secret Tours" map will now feature OFD automobile tour routes, a mileage chart and a corporate message. OFD will also be partnering with NTMC in sales promotions, contests and marketing opportunities. Advertising for NTMC is done by J. Walter Thompson. PR for NTMC is handled by Hill and Knowlton. Both agencies are based in Toronto.
