Toronto-based retailer Winners has chosen Bensimon Byrne D'Arcy as its new creative advertising agency. The decision follows an agency review that included an original long list of six agencies. Bensimon Byrne D'Arcy was shortlisted for the account with one additional unnamed agency. The review was launched in November and ran longer than expected after Winners decided to test campaign ideas with consumers. The incumbent on the account was Harrod & Mirlin/FCB. Harrod and Mirlin/FCB had the account for the past four years. Toronto-based Bensimon Byrne D'Arcy will debut its first work for Winners in March when a new television campaign for the national chain of discounted fashion and home accessories is launched. The media portion of the account remains with Harrison Young Pesonen & Newell of Toronto.
