Southam Inc. has announced two new appointments following the return of Saturday Night magazine to its original weekly format. David Swail will assume the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer of National Post Media, which includes Saturday Night and National Post Business and their respective Web sites. Swail's appointment is in addition to his current role of vice president of operations and planning for National Post. Geoffrey Dawe has been appointed executive vice president of integrated sales and marketing for National Post Media. Most recently he was vice president of sales and marketing at Canadian House & Home.
Wolf Group Toronto has a found a new creative director in Gary Holme. In his new role, Holme will be responsible for creative leadership at Wolf Toronto as well as other offices in the Wolf network. Holme joins Wolf Group Toronto from Harrod & Mirlin/FCB where he had been vice president group creative director.
Encore Encore Strategic Marketing has added David Hart to its team as director of events. In this position Hart will oversee the event department's day-to-day management. Previously he was director of production at House of Blues Concerts Canada.
