GEOPOST DELIVERS TARGETED ADMAIL

Canada Post Corporation and Toronto-based Compusearch Micromarketing Data and Systems are delivering a new service called GeoPost Plus. GeoPost allows advertisers to better target consumers using Canada Post's unaddressed admail. The new service uses Compusearch's PSYTE market segmentation system which incorporates behavioral data with demographic and socio-economic factors gathered from media and marketing databases such as Print Measurement Bureau, NADbank, ACNielsen, BBM, and Statistics Canada. PSYTE groups Canadian homes by postal codes and enumeration areas into 60 neighborhood types. Using GeoPost, advertisers can target their markets and interpret consumer behavior prior to sending out a mass mailing, the company claims.
