URBAN OUTDOOR AND OMG RECYCLING NEW MEDIUM

Urban Outdoor Trans Ad and OMG Media, both of Toronto, have formed a new joint agreement. The two companies will team up to market a new street level medium seen on Toronto streets. The new medium is a stainless steel recycling container. The container displays two ads that are two and a half by five feet in size. By the end of the year OMG Media intends to have installed 4,000 containers at major intersections and pedestrian areas throughout the city. This total would be greater than the number of transit shelters in the City of Toronto. Ron Hutchinson, Urban Outdoor president, said the containers can benefit both local advertisers and national advertisers looking for a grassroots advertising medium.
