TRAVELBYUS.COM SIGNS JAMES CAAN FOR NEW ADVERTISING AND PR CAMPAIGNS

Travelbyus.com of White Rock, British Columbia has announced the Internet travel company has signed Academy award nominee and Emmy award nominee James Caan to be the company's marketing spokesperson. Caan, who most recently stared in the movie "Mickey Blue Eyes", will begin promoting the travel company through both advertising and public relations campaigns set to launch next month. The advertising campaign includes a media blitz incorporating television, print, radio, online and outdoor advertising. Both advertising and public relations for the company is handled in-house. In addition, Caan will assist the company in launching its Web site in January. Commenting on the agreement, Caan said he was happy to be associated with the Internet travel company. "Their travel services and products are first-rate, their state-of-the-art technology promises to be easy to use and their business model is extremely exciting. It truly is 'travel made easy'," he said. Financial details were not disclosed but the company recently reported financing of $30 million, the result of a special warrant financing and private placement in Canada as well as offshore.
