MODEM MEDIA'S TORONTO OFFICE TO EXPAND COCA-COLA INITIATIVES

Norwalk, Conn.-based Modem Media.Poppe Tyson has announced its Toronto office is expanding its Internet and e-business initiatives for its client Coca-Cola Ltd. The company has announced in addition to its ongoing work for the Coca-Cola Classic and Diet Coke brands, it will begin developments on new initiatives, which will break early next year. Recent projects Modem completed for Coca-Cola included the development of an Internet strategy and Web site for the Coke Card Loyalty program as well as initiatives in support of Coca-Cola's "Crazy Plates" program. Modem also created an acquisition campaign for Diet Coke, which encourages online users to order a vending machine for their office. The campaign was more successful than a similar radio counterpart campaign. According to Bob Allen, Modem Media president and COO, the company intends on continuing its expansion throughout Toronto and across Canada with new clients as well as new employees. The company operates additional offices in New York, San Francisco, London, Munich, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
