GREY ADVERTISING GOING THROUGH ORIENTATION
By Adnews Staff
New York-based Grey Advertising is going through an orientation for its latest account win. The agency was named global AOR for New York-based Orientation.com, a network of local and regional Internet portals. Grey will be responsible for global creative development. MediaCom, Grey's global media services company, will handle media planning and buying worldwide. The Internet company's agency roster also includes the public relations firm GCI Group, which recently won the Western, Central and Eastern Europe accounts for Orientation.com. Grey's immediate plans are to begin work on a major global advertising campaign to build brand awareness throughout the six regions and more than 20 countries in the company's portal network. The campaign is set to break in the first quarter of the new year.
