KURT BROWNING TO PROMOTE AOL CANADA IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Figure skater Kurt Browning is to appear in one of several new commercials for AOL Canada Inc. as part of the interactive online service's national television advertising campaign. Browning will appear in one of six commercials for AOL Canada that focus on individuals discussing how they use the service in everyday life. In another spot a young mother talks about sharing experiences with the other mothers in a "Mommies Online" support group on AOL Canada. In another spot a retired couple explain how they use the service to stay in touch with friends and family and to play online bridge, euchre and bingo. The campaign, from Toronto-based Wunderman Cato Johnson, breaks this week. Media buying was done by Initiative Media.
