OBIE MEDIA WINS FIVE YEAR CONTRACT RIDING WEST COAST EXPRESS

Vancouver-based Obie Media, providers of out-of-home advertising products and services, has been awarded a five year contract from the West Coast Express. Obie Media will manage interior advertising services and platform displays in eight stations for the West Coast Express, a public commuter rail service in the Vancouver area. The West Coast Express win follows the company being chosen to provide transit advertising services for 20 municipalities and two electoral areas in the Greater Vancouver Regional District by TransLink transit service last year. Obie Media will be assigning a local sales representative to focus specifically on sales performance for West Coast Express and will include West Coast Express in its national and regional packages. Obie Media provides transit advertising services throughout the British Columbia and Ontario markets including Vancouver and London, Ontario.
