RE/MAX ON THE MARKET WITH MAXXMEDIA

RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada has been sold on Toronto-based MaxxMedia Inc. as its media management agency-of-record. MaxxMedia won the account through a past relationship with RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada's director of communications David Brown. The marketing budget is $5 million. MaxxMedia has already begun work on the real estate organization's year 2000 campaigns and support for the launch of a new Web site. Brown said RE/MAX was looking for a media agency that had fully integrated services ranging from mainstream mass media to online. MaxxMedia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vickers & Benson Cos. Ltd., in addition to Vickers & Benson Advertising Ltd., VBDI (Vickers & Benson Direct Interactive) and Warwick & Associates.
