UPDATE: YIELD KNOWS "HOW TO BEAT A MAN"

As recently reported in Adnews, a television campaign for Crimestoppers is currently airing, targeting individuals with knowledge of domestic abuse cases. The province-wide campaign is running under the auspices of the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the Ontario Women's Directorate, the Chief Firearm's Office and the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers. These TV spots have now been joined by a series of radio ads and posters from Toronto-based advertising firm Yield, which also created the television spots. The new material incorporates the campaign theme "How to Beat a Man Who Beats a Women". Cadillac Fairview Corporation is also sponsoring the campaign and is displaying the posters throughout its malls across the province. The posters read "How to Beat a Man Who Beats a Women--With a Phone Number" and feature a close-up photo of a crying woman along with the Crime Stoppers phone number. The campaign runs until early December.
