OMA HITS THE RADIO AIRWAVES
By Adnews Staff
The Ontario Medical Association is broadcasting a new province-wide radio campaign. The public information initiative includes four 60-second segments which will air until early December on 48 radio stations. The 1999 radio campaign is a continuation of the OMA's communication with Ontarians about the state of health care in the province. Previous campaigns include a 1998 fall television campaign and a 1997 fall print campaign. In this year's radio campaign, each 60-second spot features a physician sharing his or her personal viewpoint on the problems of providing quality care to patients while experiencing both a physician shortage and waiting lists. The 1999 radio campaign was created in-house by the OMA.
