BANK OF MONTREAL TEACHING PARENTS IN-TUITION

Toronto-based Bank of Montreal's First Canadian Funds is teaching parents when its comes to saving for your children's education, the time is now. That's the message Bank of Montreal's First Canadian Funds is saying to consumers in a new 30-minute infomercial for its In-tuition Registered Education Savings Plan. The infomercial was produced by Channel 500, a direct response television production company in Toronto and is the second time infomercial advertising was used to promote First Canadian Funds. Last year an infomercial for First Canadian Funds MatchMaker service was produced. The new In-tuition infomercial is running now until early December in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, targeting parents and grandparents. The program explains the rising cost of education and includes testimonials from parents, students and experts including Nesbitt Burns chief economist Sherry Cooper as well as showing parents how to create a manageable monthly savings plan. PR for First Canadian Funds is handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
