HAMILTON SPECTATOR OPEN FOR DISCUSSION

The Hamilton Spectator has one objective in mind with its new, multi-media advertising campaign, while keeping its core readers, the daily newspaper wants to attract younger, less frequent readers from Hamilton as well as its surrounding areas. The brand strategy and creative for the new "Open For Discussion" campaign is from Padulo Integrated Inc. of Toronto. The campaign also marks the first campaign from Padulo since the agency won the account in September. The campaign includes television, cinema, outdoor and print advertising. The agency said it focused on the positioning and brand of the Spectator for the campaign. Phase one of the "Open for Discussion" campaign is scheduled to run through the fall and into early December.
