Palmer Jarvis DDB has announced two new senior appointments. Trevor McConnell has been appointed vice president creative director, Vancouver and Bill Baker has been appointed senior vice president, director of client services. Previously McConnell was vice president, creative director Palmer Jarvis DDB Edmonton. He takes over for Ian Grais, who in partnership with Chris Staples and Tom Shepansky, announced the trio will be opening up their own Vancouver-based agency November 1. Baker moves into his new role after being vice president, Palmer Jarvis DDB Integrated replacing Shepansky. According to Frank Palmer, president and CEO of Palmer Jarvis DDB, McConnell will continue to oversee the creative services in Edmonton until a replacement is appointed. He also noted the position vacated by Staples, senior vice president, national creative director, would not be filled immediately.
