ENN NOW BEING SEEN IN WESTERN CANADA

Elevator News Network of Toronto is travelling west following the company's announcement of its in-elevator communication service expanding into the Calgary and Vancouver markets. The ENN network outfits passenger elevator cabs with a series of custom-designed LCD video panels that provide a steady rotation of information. The service is supported by video advertising messages on the bottom-third of the screens. According to ENN, advertisers benefit from ENN's ability to access a targeted and captive audience during the day when it is difficult to reach them through traditional means of advertising. The expansion will see 100 new elevator cabs installed with ENN in Calgary by the end of the year. Three hundred more are planned for installation by next summer and installations are also scheduled for operation in Vancouver for early 2000.
