APEX CELEBRATING FIRST ANNIVERSARY WITH ACCOUNT WIN

Toronto-based APEX Public Relations is celebrating the agency's first anniversary with the announcement of its newest account win, The Bank of Montreal, Private Client Group based in Toronto. APEX, founded in September 1998, was awarded the account following a competition with six unnamed agencies. It will be responsible for media relations, special events and support for speaking opportunities. The announcement of its latest account win continues to see the agency expand. Since its founding, the agency has grown to a staff of eight, handling a roster of clients including: Adobe, TetraPak, Netscape, Cadillac Fairview, CMA Canada and the Canadian Health Food Association. "I started this agency with the basic philosophy that success would be achieved by doing great work for great clients," Pat McNamara, president and owner of APEX said. "After one year we are thrilled to have such an incredible roster of clients." The agency's immediate plans include moving to larger office space next month to accommodate additional staff and expansion as it searches for additional consultants to join its team.
