METRICK SYSTEM LAUNCHING NEW CAMPAIGN FOR RE-DESIGNED DAVIDS

The Metrick System of Toronto has created a new advertising campaign for DAVIDS of Toronto. DAVIDS is a designer shoe store owned by the Markowitz family for the last 47 years. The success and popularity of the company's Bloor Street flagship store has led to the opening of a second location in Bayview Village. Both locations were designed by Yabu Pushelberg of Toronto. To support the opening of its new location and the renovations of its flagship store, DAVIDS is launching an advertising campaign. Consumers will be targeted using newspaper and print ads, location billboards, transit advertising and a direct mail campaign to past and existing customers. In addition a series of window displays, also created by The Metrick System, will target window shoppers at both locations. The campaign gets under way in mid-September.
