TORONTO STAR HAS REWARDING OFFER

The Toronto Star has a rewarding offer for its customers after becoming the latest sponsor to join the Air Miles Rewards Program. The new sponsorship, which became effect mid-August, is being supported with an advertising campaign created in-house. Full-page color ads began running in The Toronto Star mid-August. A radio campaign and transit advertising, which broke on Monday, will also promote the newspaper's sponsorship of the program. Reward miles are being offered to subscribers and classified ad customers. Five reward miles will be awarded for a 3 month subscription renewal, 10 reward miles for a 6 month renewal and 20 reward miles for a 12 month renewal. Two reward miles will be awarded every time a customer's credit card is billed on the automatic billing plan and in addition, collectors earn 5 reward miles when private party 7-day classified ads are placed. The Toronto Star joins the more than 40 sponsors of the Air Miles program in Ontario. Collectors can redeem reward miles for sporting events, movie tickets and merchandise in addition to flights.
