MSN CANADA LAUNCHES INTERACTIVE CONTEST

MSN Canada of Toronto launched its Fall marketing campaign this week which includes two interactive contests. The first of two contests to be held, was launched on Monday during the prime time sitcom That 70s Show, which airs on the Global Television and WIC Television networks. MSN.CA will offer a grand prize trip to the set of That 70s Show, including airfare, three nights accommodation in Los Angeles and $500 cash to one grand prize winner. Viewers need to tune into shows such as That 70s Show, The X-Files and The Simpsons between August 16 and August 30 for the MSN contest announcements in the form of a teaser campaign. All individuals who register for or already have a free, personal MSN Hotmail account are eligible to win. Beginning August 30, MSN Hotmail users can submit their entries by correctly answering a trivia question that will be asked during back-to-back episodes of That 70s Show. Promotion of the contest is also being supported online on the MSN.CA Web site. Advertising for MSN Canada is done by Communiqué of Toronto. PR is handled by Hill & Knowlton of Toronto.
