Melissa Evans has been appointed marketing manager for the Canadian corporate office of Days Inns-Canada. She will be involved in all aspects of national and regional marketing initiatives. In her most recent position, Evans was acting marketing manager for the City of Toronto's special events office.
Sun Media has appointed Judy Bullis publisher and chief executive officer of The Ottawa Sun. Prior to her appointment, Bullis was The Ottawa Sun's director of sales and marketing. Bullis' appointment marks Sun Media's first woman publisher.
Ammirati Puris Lintas has hired two new art directors. Deborah Pringer joins the Toronto agency from Roche Macaulay & Partners where she held the same position, while Wain Choi joins the Ammirati team from Cossette Communications where he held the same position as well.
Wolf Group Public Relations, a unit of Wolf Group Canada, has announced that Bev Jenkins has joined the firm as vice-president, consumer marketing. Jenkins joins Wolf from Edelman Public Relations where she was event account director working on the Du Mauier Classic account.
The Communications Group Inc. has promoted Sheldon Rose to senior consultant. Previously Rose was a consultant for the public relations agency.
