CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON NEW ADVERTISING STRUCTURE

Construction has begun on Canada's first media tower. The Atrium Media Tower will be incorporated into the Atrium on Bay retail and office complex in Toronto. Scheduled to be complete this fall, the tower is the designed to accommodate multimedia presentations. The project is being developed by Eller Media Company Canada. "The Atrium Tower will encompass over 20,000 square feet of advertising space and will feature a combination of neon, LED, three dimensional and motion signage," Eller Media Canada president John Jory said. Eller Media Canada is a joint venture between Cadillac Fairview Corp. and Phoenix, AZ-based Eller Media Companies and The Ellman Companies. According to Jory, when the tower is complete it will accommodate between 15 and 20 advertisers with signage space raging from 15' x 20' to 60' x 60'.
