TIME CANADA PUBLISHING THE POWER OF PRINT
By Adnews Staff
Time Canada of Toronto plans to enter the new millennium by taking a look at some of Canada's creative best. The magazine launched a "Power of Print" campaign in March, inviting advertising agencies across Canada to submit a one-page advertisement on any subject not for commercial benefit. Beginning with the July 12 issue, hitting newsstands this week, Time Canada will print one submission each week until the end of the year or until all submissions have been printed. Along side each ad will run a column profiling the creative team behind the work. Ads submitted can address topics such as politics, ethics, social issues, or promote charitable causes. The "Power of Print" campaign was first introduced in 1969 in the United States. The program is not a contest. Submissions are reviewed for the professionalism of their execution and are not judged against one another. Time Canada is produced by Time Canada Ltd. PR for the magazine is handled by Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto.
