AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL CHARGING IT

Amnesty International Canada of Ottawa and Citizens Bank of Vancouver have come together to introduce the new Citizens Bank Amnesty International VISA card. The new card, launched earlier this week, features a dove in flight on a black background. Each time a purchase is made using the new Amnesty International VISA, Citizens Bank donates 10 cents to Amnesty International Canada. Additional features of the card includes: no annual fee, automatic purchase security coverage and free travel accident insurance. To support the launch of the new card, a direct mail campaign to 27,000 Amnesty International members was used. The campaign was done by Go Direct of Vancouver. Additional promotion of the new card was done on Citizens Bank's Web site and through its newsletter. Creative for the newsletter is done by Herrianco of Vancouver. Citizens Bank is wholly owned by VanCity Savings Credit Union.
