ALUMINUM COUNCIL RAISING AWARENESS

The Aluminum Marketing Council of Toronto is aiming to raise awareness about aluminum through its new advertising campaign. Darcy McNeill, executive director, Aluminum Marketing Council, told Adnews that the campaign is designed to increase the profile of aluminum and highlight the intrinsic value of the metal, including the economic, social and environmental benefits.. Print advertisements are running in national and English regional newspaper dailies across Canada. The campaign, scheduled to run until mid-July, was created by PNMD Communication Inc. of Montreal. The AMC also launched its interactive Web site. Operating in both French and English, the site is designed to inform consumers of the value of aluminum and provide information about the AMC. The Aluminum Marketing Council is comprised of aluminum producers and manufacturers of aluminum products.
