HOLIDAY INN HOTELS EXPLORING THE OCEAN WITHOUT GETTING WET
By Adnews Staff
Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, a subsidiary of Bass Hotels & Resorts Inc. of Toronto, is launching a summer promotion that will find kids in a underwater, world exploration. The "Explore the Oceans" educational program is designed to teach children about the mysterious world underwater from the comfort of a Holiday Inn hotel. The promotion, which began June 24 and is running until Labor Day, is being supported with print advertising. Upon checking into any Holiday Inn Hotel across Canada, each child will receive a miniature, soft floatable tub-toy of an ocean creature and an activity book. Coca-Cola is supporting the summer promotion with activity placemats and souvenir cups to entertain and educate kids in the dinning room. Holiday Inn is also offering its kids 12 and under eat free from the children's menu and kids 19 and under stay free in their parent's room offers as well. Holiday Inn did not wish to reveal who handled advertising for its hotels. PR for Holiday Inn hotels is handled by Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto.
