BELL EXPRESSVU COUNTING DOWN TO SATELLITE LAUNCH

Bell ExpressVu of Toronto is counting down the minutes until July 1, when it will begin offering its services on the new NIMIQ Direct Broadcast Satellite. Subscribers to Bell ExpressVu will have access to over 200 video channels and music stations, the largest Pay-Per-View line-up in Canada and DirecPC, the first Canadian Internet Service via satellite, all available on an 18-inch satellite dish. In addition, the direct-to-home satellite television company, is launching a marketing program targeted to customers of Star Choice, Grey Market or C-Band, offering a free satellite system to any subscriber who wants to switch to Bell ExpressVu, in exchange for their current box. Bell will promote the free satellite system offer with in-store and point-of-purchase materials. In September, a mass market campaign including radio, television and print as well as in-store and point-of-purchase materials is planned. Advertising for Bell ExpressVu is done by the Toronto and Montreal offices of Cossette Communications. PR for Bell ExpressVu is handled by National Public Relations of Montreal.
