LOOK COMMUNICATIONS ENTERING RETAIL MARKET

LOOK Communications Inc. of Milton, Ontario, is expanding into the retail industry. The wireless digital alternative to traditional cable companies has entered into an agreement with Future Shop of Vancouver, that will find LOOK's products available in 35 Future Shop locations across Ontario and Quebec. Beginning mid-July, consumers can go into any participating Future Shop location and order the same LOOK package they would have previously ordered over the phone. To promote the new agreement, in-store displays will support the launch. The basic plan offered by LOOK costs $19.95 per month and includes the antenna, digital set-top box, universal remote control, 30 music channels and 25 local and specialty channels. The basic plan can be customized to include additional channels. Future Shop is a computer and consumer electronic retailer in Canada. LOOK's signals broadcast from towers in its coverage areas in Ontario and Quebec. Last month LOOK Communications announced a merger with Internet Direct, a Canadian Internet service provider.
