The Canadian Cable Television Association has announced the appointment of Janet Yale as president and chief executive officer effective August 1, 1999. Currently Yale is senior vice-president, Integration at AT&T Canada. The CCTA represents 672 licensed broadcasting distribution undertakings which provide cable television service to more than 7.5 million Canadian households.

FUSIONcreative has announced some recent appointments. Victoria Dawson has joined FUSION as a senior account manager on the Cantel AT&T business. She will be responsible for managing retail design communications. Previously she was a project manager at the Watt Group. Malcolm Mclean also joins the company as an account manager on the Cantel AT&T account. He will be responsible for managing the corporate design communications portfolio. Prior to joining FUSION, Mclean was in account management at Bozell Worldwide. Bryan Morris is promoted to art director for the Cantel AT&T account. He will be responsible for corporate and retail design communications. Morris had been working on a number of other projects prior to being named art director for the Cantel account.
