WASSERMAN & PARTNERS TAKING A ROYAL HUDSON DAY TRIP
By Adnews Staff
A new campaign for BC Rail's 1999 Royal Hudson season, created by Wasserman & Partners of Vancouver, presents a scene of vehicular confusion, featuring a steam engine travelling on the downtown streets of Vancouver. Transit advertising used by the agency for the campaign creates an illusion of the 2860 Royal Hudson steam engine looming in front of the following car. The promotion was designed to raise awareness of the Royal Hudson, a day trip on a classic steam engine. In addition to the transit advertising, print ads in trade publications and daily newspapers also promote the day long excursion which includes an open air viewing car and high tea in a parlour car.
