MICROSOFT CANADA LAUNCHING NEW LINE OF KEYBOARDS

Microsoft Canada Company of Mississauga, Ontario is introducing three new keyboards. The new line includes one split-key style keyboard, commonly referred to as an "ergonomic" keyboard, and two traditional straight models. The new features included on the keyboards are Internet and multimedia hot keys and built-in USB ports. The Natural Keyboard Pro, Internet Keyboard Pro and Internet Keyboard all feature new blue hot keys that allow one-touch access for users to their Internet browser, e-mail or favourite application. Both the Natural Keyboard Pro and the Internet Keyboard Pro offer two USB ports placed directly on the keyboard for immediate plug-and-play capability. The Internet Keyboard and the Natural Keyboard Pro will be available in major retailers across Canada in October. The Internet Keyboard Pro will make its debut in February 2000. The new line of keyboards will be promoted when shipping starts but plans have not been confirmed. Advertising for Microsoft is done by Communiqué of Toronto.
