Lasso Communications has announced a new promotion and appointment. Scott deVeber has been promoted from business manager to senior business manager. He will be responsible for coordinating production activities and developing marketing strategies for his clients. Mark Sharpe is appointed to the newly created position of director of client services. Sharpe joins Lasso Communications from Extra Bytes where he was vice president, sales and marketing.
Following FCB Direct Canada's Microcell Solutions Inc. account win, the agency has announced Dominique Payette has joined the Montreal office to head that account. Payette joins FCB Direct from Bell Canada where she was most recently marketing manager-consumer market.
