A chain reaction of promotions have been announced at Young & Rubicam. Howard Breen has been promoted from president and chief executive officer to chairman and chief executive officer of Young & Rubicam Canada. In addition to Breen's promotion, his portfolio will be extended to include the position of president and chief executive officer of Young & Rubicam Chicago, allowing him to continue overseeing all Canadian operation. Breen fills the role being vacated by Pat Cafferata, former president and chief executive officer of Young & Rubicam Chicago. Darcia Joseph has also been promoted. Joseph moves from managing director and chief operating officer, Young & Rubicam Canada to president and chief operating officer.
