ADVERTISING AGENCIES OFFER REFUGEE SUPPORT

As "Doctors without Borders" sets up on the Yugosalv border, an appeal to support the organization has begun in Vancouver. Rob Hadley of Bryant, Fulton & Shee in Vancouver has begun appealing to ad agencies to collect pledges in support of the organization. To encourage people to donate, Virgin Megastore, Ticketmaster and Duthie Books have provided gift certificates adding up to $125, which will be given to the winner of a draw in which all donors will be entered. The appeal cut-off date is April 15. Any donations should be made to "Doctors without Borders" and sent to BF&S' Vancouver officer, where they will be passed on to the organization's office in Vancouver.
