PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE LAUNCHES MARKETING CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Progressive Auto Insurance of Toronto is making a name for itself. To build awareness of the insurance provider, the company has formulated a new marketing strategy for Ontario. The strategy includes event sponsorships and advertising. Using radio spots to be aired on Toronto stations and by sponsoring a multi-year exhibition of art at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Progressive is hoping to raise consumer awareness of the company. "Consumers value three things, low prices, decent service and company identity," William Conner, president, Progressive Auto Insurance, told Adnews last week. "Through our marketing campaign we plan to respond to those values." Progressive is targeting drivers of all age with the campaign. The campaign was done for Progressive by a freelancer working on a project basis for the company. PR for Progressive is handled by Goodman Communications Inc. of Toronto.
