TIME AFTER TIME, A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS

International advertisers and marketers now have the option to select images from Time Inc.'s picture collection for their advertising campaigns. Many of the images of the twentieth century, that first appeared on the pages of Time Inc. publications, are now part of a collection to be marketed to advertisers and art directors. A selection of photographs will be available for consumer and trade advertising purposes. Some have already been used in advertising campaigns launched by marketers such as The Gap, Apple Computers, State Farm Insurance and more. "If a picture is worth a thousand words, the Times Inc. Picture Collection speaks volumes," Time Inc.'s director of editorial services Sheldon Czapnik said. "Its pictures have captured the people places and events that have defined our times. They're not only part of Time Inc.'s great heritage of photography, but in a real sense a part of the world's heritage as well. We're delighted that the advertising community will now have access to these memorable, evocative photos." The Time Inc. Picture Collection is an asset of Time Inc. based in New York.
