LEO BURNETT SEEING STARS IN THE FUTURE

Chicago-based Leo Burnett Company has announced the launch of Starcom throughout its global network of offices. The Starcom system includes resources, tools, research and studies deployed across a new intranet that allows each office to share web-based information across the global network. All media divisions and departments of Leo Burnett worldwide will adopt the Starcom operating model. "Our clients are looking to dissolve regions and national borders and seek one superior resource for media," chairman and CEO, Leo Burnett Company Inc., Richard Fizdale said. Operating as a unified global company, Starcom Worldwide will be lead by Jack Klues, who has been named CEO and Bob Breman, who has been named COO. Australia, Thailand, Mexico and the United States have already made the transition to the Starcom operating system. The complete transition is expected to be done by the end of July.
