Environics Communications Inc. of Toronto has added four faces to its office in the past month. Liz Carson has been hired as vice-president, to be responsible for new business development, communications planning and execution in the consumer health and packaged goods areas. Previously she was group director at Thornley Fallis. Andrea Ellison has come aboard as senior consultant, specializing in the technology sector. She comes from a senior consultant position at the Wolf Group. Jennifer Glickman has joined the health sciences area as consultant. She had most recently been an account executive at Fleishman-Hillard. Finally, Carrie Rombough has taken on the position of account coordinator in the technology practice. Previously she was at Benchmark Communications. Rob Thompson has joined Toronto-based CryptoLogic Inc. as vice-president of marketing. Previously he had been director of new media and market research at the Bank of Montreal. He will take responsibility for both corporate and product marketing. CyberLogic is a software development company which specializes in technologies for allowing secure financial transactions over the Internet.
