CIBC LAUNCHES FX WEB DEALING
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is making foreign exchange transactions for small and mid-sized businesses as easy as 1-2-click. The financial institution is introducing an Internet-based service called FX Web Dealing which allows business clients to get live quotes, transfer funds between accounts, purchase a draft, send a wire transfer or obtain transaction history immediately all from their desktop. The service is available to small and mid-sized businesses that transact a minimum of $100,000 in foreign currency conversions each year. To handle security and Internet-encryption technology for the service, CIBC has partnered with Zero Base Development Inc. CIBC offers a full range of products and services through its electronic banking networks, branches and offices across Canada. CIBC officials were not available to comment and advertising plans. Advertising for CIBC is done by Padulo Integrated Inc. of Toronto.
