MCGILL AND IDIOM BECOME ONE

Mix The McGill Communication Group and Idiom Studio, both of Ottawa, together and the result is the newly formed McGill Buckely, a full-service marketing and communications firm. The two agencies announced the merger last week along with the addition of a new media director and an account coordinator. Idiom had been owned and operated by sisters Kim and Nadine Buckley. The two now become account director and art director. McGill's principals were brothers Stephen and Brian McGill. Stephen remains as creative director and Brian remains as finance director. Ray Seguin joins the newly merged agencies as account coordinator and Mike Hendley joins as director of new media. McGill Buckley's clients include Deerhurst Resort, The Ottawa Sun, McCarthy-Tetrault, Quarterstone Communications Inc. and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
