MIJO IS CLEARING HOUSE

The MIJO Corp. of Toronto, a supplier to the advertising and motion picture industries specializing in video, audio and print, has announced its acquisition of The Clearing House of Toronto. The acquisition also includes The Clearing Houses' division Broadcast Clearance Advisory. The Clearing House was founded in 1988 and offers services to assist broadcast advertising pre-clearance from federal, provincial and industry self-regulatory agencies. Its division, BCA, was founded two years ago and offers voluntary pre-clearance services of advertising connected with products such as food, alcohol, cosmetics and consumer drugs. Under the new ownership all staff and consultants will continue in their current positions. Myra McKeen, founder of The Clearing House, will act as consultant in the clearance area to MIJO. MIJO services include production, duplication, closed captioning, distribution and storage.
