PALMER JARVIS GOING SHOPPING AT THE EATON CENTRE

Palmer Jarvis DDB of Toronto has been awarded the Toronto Eaton Centre account by Cadillac Fairview. The agency won the account after a four agency review. Under the new partnership, Palmer Jarvis becomes the agency of record and will work with the Eaton Centre to relaunch the downtown Toronto mall. The assignment includes strategic planning, advertising and assisting in a continuing series of special events over the next two years. "We chose Palmer Jarvis DDB because of the scope and depth of their strategic thinking. They were looking at our entire business - not just the task at hand. With a fresh approach to creative and excellent media planning, PJ DDB is in sync with our new vision of the Eaton Centre and our overall business strategy," marketing director for the Toronto Eaton Centre, Deborah Moore said in a release. The Eaton Centre win is the latest in a string of new business wins for the Toronto office of Palmer Jarvis DDB. Over the past 10 months the agency has begun working with 12 new clients including Parmalet (formerly Beatrice and Ault), Compaq, Epson and Yamaha.
