PALM PUBLICITE LAUNCHES NEW CAMPAIGN

Pharmacy chain Groupe Jean Coutu of Lonqueuil, Quebec with its ad agency, Palm Publicite Marketing of Montreal is introducing a new French campaign. The new campaign follows the company's first ad campaign starring Mimi and her little brother Max, that began three years ago and finished in December 1998. The new campaign, which was launched earlier this week, includes a series of 30-second television commercials that promote the Jean Coutu name. The first spot highlights the cosmetics available at Jean Coutu pharmacies. Other spots will follow, each with a different theme. The television spots are airing in major French-language Quebec markets. There are 250 Jean Coutu pharmacies in Quebec. Palm Publicite is a communications firm in Quebec. The agency's clients include Volkswagen, Labatt, Loto-Quebec, Tourisme Quebec, and Dunkin' Donuts.
