COMPAQ CONTINUES BRANDING CAMPAIGN

Compaq Computer Corp., of Houston, Texas, is surfing the next wave of their new branding campaign which began in January with the tagline "Compaq? Who Knew?" The campaign continues with the launch of a new television ad campaign scheduled to air for the first time during last night's prime time broadcast of the Grammy Awards on CBS. Print ads will also appear in national publications. The French and English campaign is expected to come to Canada in April with the same ads being adapted for the Canadian market. The campaign was created by Palmer Jarvis DDB of New York. Advertising for Compaq Canada Inc., is done by Palmer Jarvis DDB of Toronto.
