Anthony Comper has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Bank of Montreal. Previously Comper was president and chief operating officer. Comper is replacing Matthew Barrett, who was chairman and chief executive officer for the Bank of Montreal until his announcement yesterday that he would step down immediately and retire. Barrett was appointed CEO 10 years ago. Daniel O'Neill has been appointed executive vice-president and chief operating officer, North American Brewing for The Molson Companies Ltd. Most recently O'Neill was executive vice president, North American Sales and president, Heinz South America at the H.J. Heinz Company in Pittsburgh, Penn.
