TWO AGENCIES LOSE CHIEFS
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Generator Corp. president and CEO Kevin Astle is leaving the company later this month. BBDO, Generator's parent company, and Astle cited "significant philosophical differences regarding the future direction of the agency" which resulted in the mutual decision that Astle should leave the company, but remain a shareholder for the time being. Astle has been president and CEO of the agency since 1990. Astle will be replaced by a management team at Generator. They are: senior creative director Rod Young, account director Marty Goldberg, senior account director Barb Sheperd and Ken Leach.
Toronto-based Grey Canada president and CEO Andy Krupski has resigned from the post, citing personal reasons for his departure. Krupski has agreed to remain as a consultant to the agency.
