LASERMEDIA TAKES FITNESS INFO ONLINE

LaserMedia Communications of Toronto will launch an online fitness magazine next month. Called FitWeek, the weekly publication will be targeted to men and women who want practical information on keeping fit and eating right. Features of the magazine will include a column by fitness author Sherry Goggia, who will count down the top ten foods that fight disease, review fitness equipment, answer reader questions and provide exercise and workout tips. The website's address is <http://www.actfit.com/fitweek.html>. Separately, LaserMedia has made some additions to its sales and marketing department. Frank Safechuck has joined the company as sales and marketing vice-president. Most recently he was president of Professional Athletes Ltd. Darrin Rachal is now sales director. Previously he was national accounts advertising sales manager at Weider Publications. LaserMedia is a developer of electronic media for the health and fitness market.
