Get2net of New York has partnered with CBS.MarketWatch.com to offer the latest financial news and monitor stock portfolios on get2net's NetStations at U.S. airports. The NetStations, which are Internet kiosks travelers can use to go online, will feature placard advertising directing travelers to access financial news from the CBS.MarketWatch.com Web site. In addition, the NetStation welcome page will feature hot links to CBS and its Global Finance Channel, a financial news service created by get2net. Get2net spokesperson Pam Osborne told Adnews yesterday that the kiosks will eventually come to Canada, but not before the second half of the year. Advertising packages available on the NetStations include electronic billboards that act as screensavers, personalized survey sponsorships, content partnerships, banners, buttons and links. In addition, get2net offers advertising on the exterior walls of the NetStation. Companies can also sponsor content categories such as news, weather, e-mail, travel service and local information. Get2net is an Internet access network provider.
